Obermuhl to Engelhartszell
Die Tour
On this final cycling day, finish your trip off with more spectacular scenery and one of the biggest highlights of the trip, the Schlögener Loop.
The cycling continues its easy-going route along the Danube through a breath-taking scenery of lush meadows and along the Schlögener Schlinge (Great Loop), where the river makes a dramatic about-turn of 180 degrees. As you explore the cycle path the aroma of freshly grilled mackerel and cosy pubs have a habit of tempting cyclists who have worked up an appetite. Why not try some of the special cordials in the Trappist monastery at Engelszell, today’s destination.
The fun and high spirits continue when you return to the boat, with the Gala farewell dinner and a crew show.

These maps and routes are designed to be used in conjunction with our traditional documentation. We have recently embarked on a conversion initiative to bring the two elements together, and this itinerary will be covered in due course.
In the meantime, using the two elements alongside each other should go a long way to ensure you have a safe, enjoyable and problem free day.
