Dicht & Ergreifend

Das neue Album der Dichtis erscheint im Herbst 2026 und sorgt schon jetzt nicht nur für Gesprächsstoff, sondern gar für Empörung. Dort, wo sich die Einen nach Jahren des Wartens vor ausgelassener Freude in die Arme fallen, schlagen die Anderen schockiert die Hände über dem Kopf zusammen. Was ist da los?

Nach ihrer Album-Trilogie in Mundart reißen Dutti & Urkwell die fabulöse Büchse der Pandora auf. Ob dieser Schritt unweigerlich im Verlust ihres Kult-Statuses mündet, oder sie sich neue Dimensionen im Dreieck Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz erschließen, wird sich zeigen, wenn die Scheibe zu rotieren beginnt. Fortan kann somit nicht nurmehr der Nieder- oder Oberbayer, sondern selbst der Ost-Westphale oder der Süd-Nordfriese ein neues zu Hause in der subersiven Dichtis-Ironie finden.

"Dicht & Ergreifend verkaufen ihre Seele an den Mainstream und verlieren unweigerlich sämtliche Glaubwürdigkeit." So in etwa könnte im Feuilleton eine Schlagzeile lauten, aber auch folgende Interpretation wäre denkbar: "Sprachgewaltig wie nie: Dicht & Ergreifend überwinden sprachliche Grenzen und gewinnen dabei sogar noch an Wucht und Wahrhaftigkeit."

"Das Zweiländerdreieck" hat es faustdick hinter den Ohren, zumal es sich um das erste Konzeptalbum der Dichtis handelt und zugleich mal wieder mit einer inhaltlichen Gnackwatschn, pardon: einer hochdeutschen Genick-Schelle, zu rechnen ist. Die Hälfte der Songs kommt im vertrauten Dialekt, die andere Hälfte in Hochdeutsch. Was wie Identitätsverlust wirkt, entpuppt sich als Generalangriff auf blinde Traditionen und inkludiert endlich auch jene, die bisher nur zustimmend auf die Beats mitgenickt haben.

Wenn das »zweisprachige« Konzeptalbum einschlägt, weitet sich das Dichtiversum möglicherweise auch außerhalb des Freistaates aus. Wenn die Scheibe floppt, werden sie wohl gnadenlos aus Bayern abgeschoben. Für die anti-lokalpatriotischen Wahlberliner wäre das so oder so eine runde Sache, oder besser gesagt eine jemähte Wiese, wa!

Aktuelles Album: "Das Zweiländerdreieck" (tba 2026)

The Dichtis' new album will be released in the fall of 2026 and is already causing not just a stir, but outrage. While some people are hugging each other with exuberant joy after years of waiting, others are throwing up their hands in shock. What's going on?

After their album trilogy in dialect, Dutti & Urkwell are opening Pandora's box of fables. Whether this step will inevitably lead to the loss of their cult status, or whether they will open up new dimensions in the triangle of Germany, Austria and Switzerland, remains to be seen when the album starts to rotate. From now on, not only the Lower or Upper Bavarian, but even the East-Westphalian or the South-North Frisian can find a new home in the subversive Dichtis irony.

"Dicht & Ergreifend sell their soul to the mainstream and inevitably lose all credibility." A headline in the arts section could read something like this, but the following interpretation would also be conceivable: "More linguistically powerful than ever: Dicht & Ergreifend overcome linguistic boundaries and even gain in power and truthfulness in the process."

"Das Zweiländerdreieck" has a lot going for it, especially as it is the Dichtis' first concept album and at the same time, once again, you have to expect a gnackwatschn, pardon the pun: a high German neck slap. Half of the songs are in the familiar dialect, the other half in High German. What seems like a loss of identity turns out to be a general attack on blind traditions and finally includes those who have previously only nodded along to the beats.

If the "bilingual" concept album hits the mark, the Dichtiverse may also expand outside the Free State. If the album flops, they will probably be mercilessly deported from Bavaria. For the anti-local patriotic Berliners by choice, that would be a round thing either way, or rather a mown meadow, wa!
