Endlich wieder richtiger Austropop - das hört man oft, wenn über das Duo Edmund aus dem Wienerwald gesprochen wird. Roman Messner und Markus Kadensky schreiben wunderschöne zweistimmige Mundartsongs aus dem Bauch heraus, vereinen darin das Beste des alten Austropop mit aktuellem Songwriting und treffen damit gemischt mit einer guten Portion Rock voll ins Schwarze. Ihre Songs wurden 90 Millionen mal auf Spotify angehört. 35 Millionen Views auf ihre Musikvideos auf Youtube - ist überaus beeindruckend für eine Mundart-Band, die vor allem in Österreich und Bayern ihre Fans hat.

Für ihr Album "Leiwand" waren "Edmund" gleich 3-mal für den Amadeus Austrian Music Award nominiert.: In den Kategorien "Album des Jahres" (auch gewonnen!) für das Album "Leiwand", in der Kategorie "Song des Jahres" für die Single "Leiwand" und in der Kategorie Pop-Rock. Eine wirklich schöne Anerkennung nach mehreren Jahren intensiver Arbeit der Musiker Markus Kadensky und Roman Messner, die sich vor allem durch eine stetig wachsende Fanbase ausgezeichnet hat.

Ihre ehrlichen Austropop-Songs treffen mitten ins Herz und gehen oft unter die Haut. Alle Veranstaltungen auf der Open Air Linz AG FrischLuft-Bühne finden grundsätzlich bei jedem Wetter draußen statt. Bei Verdacht auf Regen ersuchen wir darum, eigene Schlechtwetterbekleidung mitzunehmen. Bei Gewitter und Sturm muss abgesagt/abgebrochen werden. Sollte eine Absage bereits im Vorfeld erkennbar notwendig sein, wird diese umgehend auf der Posthof-Homepage und auf unseren Social-Media-Kanälen bekanntgegeben.

At last, real Austropop again - that's what you often hear when people talk about the duo Edmund from the Vienna Woods. Roman Messner and Markus Kadensky write wonderful two-part dialect songs from the heart, combining the best of old Austropop with contemporary songwriting and hitting the mark with a good dose of rock. An Edmund concert is a special experience. The fans sing along with the band, which creates a wonderful sense of community.

Edmund were nominated three times for the Amadeus Austrian Music Award for their album "Leiwand": In the categories "Album of the Year" (also won!) for the album "Leiwand", in the category "Song of the Year" for the single "Leiwand" and in the category Pop-Rock. A really nice recognition after several years of intensive work by musicians Markus Kadensky and Roman Messner, which has been characterized above all by a steadily growing fan base.

Their honest Austropop songs go straight to the heart and often get under your skin. The fans love the songs because they get straight to the point and speak to people from the soul. The band continues to go their own way and deliver Austropop with the necessary pinch of freshness.
