Die Tour
Cycle along the lake via Kressbronn and Nonnenhorn to Lindau
The route leads you to the baroque pilgrim church of Birnau, the reconstructed lake dwellings in Uhldingen and then onto Meersburg with its ancient Merovingian castle. Continue through the wine-growing villages of Immenstaad and Hagnau, where, in 1881 the German winegrower’s association was founded. Cycle on to the town of Friedrichshafen; here you will find the world's largest collection of aviation exhibitions at the Zeppelin Museum—well worth a visit!
Check if you are staying in Kressbronn, Nonnenhorn or Lindau, make sure you stop in the correct village and pick up the trail for the same spot tomorrow.

These maps and routes are designed to be used in conjunction with the Bikeline documentation that you will receive upon arrival. We have recently embarked on a conversion initiative to bring the two elements together, and this itinerary will be covered in due course.
In the meantime, using the two elements alongside each other should go a long way to ensure you have a safe, enjoyable and problem-free day.

Sicherheitshinweise
Although you’ll sometimes be on marked cycle routes, you will also be cycling on roads so please beware of traffic and cycle on the right-hand side of the road if there is no cycle lane. Whilst drivers in Germany are respectful of the 'velo', please do be mindful of other road users at all times, obeying local road signs and any change in road conditions. Beware of traffic, especially when entering and leaving the towns where the traffic flow tends to be highest.
Before starting your ride it’s always worth inspecting your bike for any damage. Check for any damage to the frame, components or wheels. Ensure there are no loose cables and that the tyres are inflated and the brakes are working. Always wear a helmet when cycling. If you are doubtful of the condition of your rental bike please call the office or the local bike hire on the number provided in your information pack.
