BT2 Munich to Venice on a Touring Bike
Die Tour
Castles, mountains, food, culture, and history – this bike tour between Munich, Germany and Venice, Italy travels through three countries, and is an experience of a lifetime! This 600 kilometer designated bicycle route with 3,500 meters of elevation gain leads you through the Dolomites and past the highlights in the region, ending at the Adriatic Sea. Bicycle touring in Europe is an incredible way to combine nature, culture, and physical activity. We recommend this tour even for those who are not active cyclists.
This route follows an established bicycle route, the München-Venezia Radweg. It is well signed-out throughout, although there is a trickster in the area around Treviso and Venice who likes to flip the signs. This means some critical thinking is required when interpreting signage.
