Weg

Turn left out of Hotel Laimer Hof and follow the road until it connects with Wotanstrasse (note: the last section before Wotanstrasse is one-way, so please use the sidewalk slowly, yielding to pedestrians). Continue straight on Wotanstrasse and follow the bicycle lane underneath the tracks and through a tunnel. Continue straight.

Turn left at Gotthardstrasse, making sure to end up in the bike lane on the correct side of the road (right side). Follow the road as it curves to the right. After crossing a very large intersection, stay along the main road as it curves to the left.

Turn right where this road ends in front of the Hansapark Office Building. Continue to follow this road as it makes a large curve to the left and crosses under some tracks as it enters the neighborhood of Sendling.

After crossing a bridge over another set of tracks, turn right onto Hans-Fischer-Strasse. The large piece of land to your left is where the Oktoberfest takes place each year.

Take the second left onto Lindwurmstrasse (note – cross the intersection twice in order to stay on the proper bicycle sidewalk).

Take the third right onto Kapuzinerstrasse. Follow this until you cross a bridge over the river. Once on the far side of the river, follow the bicycle route sign pointing to the Isarradweg to the right to descend to the path along the river. This is the Munich-Venice Bicycle Route. The official start is a little further north at the Deutsches Museum, but there is not really a sign or anything significant there.
